Daily Announcements 1/9

Voyager Academy High School Daily Announcements January 9: 

• Swim team's Senior Night is this Tuesday, January 8, starting at 5 PM at Edison Johnson Aquatic Center next to the Museum of Life and Science. Come support our seniors! Admission is free and it is Hawaiin themed. 
• There will be an NHS meeting before school on Thursday in Ms. Huntington's room.
• There is a Science Olympiad meeting in Ms. Honey's room after school on Thursday
• Voyager Men's Lacrosse is looking for a few good men! If you have never played lacrosse, think football without so many pads. We have a great group this year. It doesn't matter whether you are skilled or unskilled, we will teach you. If you are interested please stop by Room D125 and speak with Mr. Mills.
• Abby Demarest from Duke Summer Session for High School Students will be on campus during lunch on Wednesday Jan. 16 to meet with students and parents who are interested in learning about pre-college programs and summer opportunities. Programs include: Summer College (four-week academic credit program for students currently in grades 10 – 12) Summer Academy (three-week academic enrichment program for students currently in grades 9 – 12) Accelerated STEM Academy (one-week academic enrichment program for students currently in grades 9 – 12)See Ms. O'Kane or check the Counseling Dept, Blog for more information.
