Voyager Academy Daily Annoucements October 18: 

  • Interested in being part of the cast and crew of this year's spring musical? Come to Mrs. Paradis' room D124 on Monday, October 22 at 2:00 for a 30 minute information workshop for this year's show! Hope to see you there!

  • The Rotary Club district 7710 is again sponsoring their annual leadership award and weekend retreat for promising Juniors who have demonstrated leadership throughout their academic and personal lives. There is a brochure and application posted on the bulletin board across from Ms. O'Kane's office. Time is short, and this is an amazing opportunity for Voyager Juniors!
  • There is a swim team meeting in CC13 today directly after school. You do not need any experience to attend.
    • National Honors Society is hosting a school supplies drive the week after Fall Break to support schools affected by Hurricane Florence. Donate new school supplies like pens, pencils, paper, and binders to the front office by October 19. 
    • There is a Service Club meeting at 8:15 AM in the Commons tomorrow. 
    • Be sure to come out to tonight's soccer game against Franklin Academy. It's America night! 
    • Seniors: please plan to attend a Senior Family information session at VAHS on Thursday, October 25 from 6-7:30 pm. Information about graduation and the college application process will be covered.

    • Come see upper level's theater productions! Be entertained by "Murder at the Banquet" and "Meet the Macbeth's" at Walltown Children's Theater located near Northgate Mall. Murder at the Banquet is showing at 7PM on the 26th, and Meet the Macbeth's is showing at 7PM on the 27th. However, you can see BOTH PLAYS on the 28th at 4PM. Tickets are $5 and free for staff. 
    • Come to the Yucatan this summer for fun, new experiences, and service credit. We still have spaces available. Today is the deadline to register for a discounted price. 
    • The Lady Viking Volleyball Team took down Roxborolast night in 5 sets. 
    • The Cross Country team had a successful Senior Night and Conference Championship meet last night. Both the girls and boys teams placed second and will be advancing to the Regiona competition.
